Kindergarten Graduation Mini Session at Riverwalk Park
There is something especially meaningful about photographing families through different seasons of life. This was the fourth session I’ve photographed for Leah and her family, which made this little Petite Session feel extra special.
We met at Riverwalk Park in downtown Chelan for a short and simple session focused on capturing Logan before her kindergarten graduation. She arrived in the cutest little green cap and gown, completely lighting up the path with her smile and personality.
One of my favorite things about Petite Sessions is how relaxed they can feel. In just a short amount of time, we were able to capture graduation portraits, sweet sister moments, updated family photos, and even a few maternity images as Leah prepares to welcome baby number three.
The girls were playful and full of energy, the light was soft and summery, and Riverwalk Park gave us the perfect natural backdrop without needing to wander far. Sessions like this are such a good reminder that photos do not have to be long or complicated to feel meaningful.
These smaller sessions are perfect for milestone moments that deserve to be remembered without committing to a full hour session. Kindergarten graduations, maternity announcements, updated family photos, birthdays, or simply documenting a season before everything changes again.
And honestly, there is something really beautiful about documenting a family year after year and getting to watch their story grow.
Thinking About a Petite Session?
My Petite Sessions are designed for shorter, story focused shoots that still leave you with a beautiful variety of images. They work especially well for young kids, senior sessions, maternity updates, or families wanting just a handful of meaningful photos without a longer session.
If you are looking for a Chelan family photographer for graduation portraits, family photos, or motherhood milestones, I would love to connect.
